Work with the Poor

The Lord has truly blessed the work that we are doing in restoring lives of the people who are devastated by the recent typhoons, the support that comes from brothers and sisters ay overwhelming.

The Lord also provided ways where we can share the work that we are doing for those who are of need to the different companies who believe in the vision and mission that we are carrying. In CFC FFL Brampton Restoration village, Intellicare will be helping us build a clinic to provide a more focus health care program for the beneficiaries of brampton village, CFC FFL Canada has been working so hard to finish the multi purpose center where a community center and school for the kids of brampton is located, Peremeter USA, an IT company will be taking part in providing an E library, where kids of the site will be using as an aid for research for education, and UP IE students will be proving tutorial services, and school materials for kids to make their education journey truly exciting.

In CFC FFL RV site in Coloong, Valenzuela, the Lord has provided us, through the effort of EFI, to build a school for kids through the partnership of Teleng tan Brothers, EFI, and CFC FFL WWP, we are also starting to build the very first cooperative store also in Coloong through the efforts of brothers and sisters from norway. A deep well, is also about to be built to provide them with water to us for laundry, gardening, and etc. The houses of those affected by typhoon will be relocated in this village as well, the formation program for the beneficiaries, and their kids are continuous. In Getafe Bohol, we just finish constructing another deep well through the efforts of CFC HFL USA, and a school in Sogod, leyte through the efforts of CFC FFL USA.

Century corporation is also helping us in providing food for the feeding program that we are doing for the different BATA centers all over the country starting from San Isidro labrador and Mary Mediatrix BATA center both in the district of paranaque.

Just recently, we conducted the very first livelihood forum to bring out the best amongst brothers and sisters in the different work with the poor sites, to recognized God given gifts and talents, and to start working on a more sustainable community development program coming from the skills, product development, and ingenuity of the different areas and people residing in the village that would provide them with ways to pay electricity and water bills, teachers of BATA centers, maintenance of the site, etc.

Truly the Lord is at work, and what a great blessing for us to see and witness lives of brothers and sisters in the different Restoration villages transform, not only materially, but more so spiritually, and it shows in the demand for Bible, reproduction of GABAY sa PAGNINILAY (scriptural devotion), and the re ordering of the HH CD that they use for worship during household. When we start to recognized the greatness and goodness of God, we get to see abundance flowing like streams of running water. He has open the floodgates, may we all take part in bringing Christ to those who are of need, to the poor and to the marginalized. We still face a huge work ahead, but with God and through the response that we do, everything is possible. Luke 4: 18 " The Spirit of the Lord is one me, because he has anointed me to proclaim the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free".
