His Standard, Not my standard

Dependence to God is what my community has taught me, being aware of the works and greatness of God made me more and more to realized the mighty providence of God in my life. The greatest manifestation/affirmation of this abundance most of the time appears and manifest in the smallest and simple events in our lives.

A lot of times, we seek God in the way that we want Him to manifest in our lives, that whenever we pray for something, ask sign, get affirmation, we would always want it to be in our ways of seeing it, our standard, and a lot of times we are disappointed and depressed, not because we didn’t received our prayers, but simply we didn’t get it the way we want it. We fall in this trap over and over again, and a lot of times, we miss what God is telling us, and where He is leading us.

Our God is Omnipresent, He is involved in our lives, and He knows the deepest desire of our hearts, we just have to recognize His works and movement, not in our own standard, but in His standard.

Let us be more discerning and open in the leading of His spirit, He is a God that is at work, a God who is involved in our lives, may we be sensitive to see and hear where God is leading us and what God is telling us. Matthew 13: 16- 17 “Blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears because they hear, amen I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it”.
