Fulltime work

Isaiah 12: 2 “ the Lord is my Savior, I`m confident and unafraid, my strength and courage is the Lord, and He has been my savior”.
Going on Mission has always been an exciting journey, starting from the area that we visit and people that we meet, but while we go and meet people, reality sinks to us (expenses, simplicity of life, wanting to buy stuff) , assessing if it’s a need or a want, entering a department store looking for stuff, and going out of the shopping store empty handed.

Through the years of doing mission work, the Lord has taught me how it is to surrender and depend on Him, trusting Him, and just obeying what he wants me to do (though sometimes, we fall short, i fall short ). The work of doing mission for Him is not just a dream coming true, but a fulfillment of doing something that you desire the most, meeting people and recognizing Gods greatness in their lives truly made us more reflect on how the Lord works in different ways, and in this recognition, makes us recognized and realized the goodness and the many wonderful things God has done in my life and your life through the assistance and affirmation we get from the people that I meet every single mission trip.

In Luke 14:27 “Whoever dies not carrying his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple”. Our call and gift is to carry and embrace that cross, living a life totally different to what the world teaches/dictates, while others work on making their bank account fat, we are called to work on our bank account in heaven. That while the world teaches us to make the most of life by spending, drinking, shopping and partying, we are called to make every situation / circumstance possible to speak about Him, to bring His cause, to carry His cross, and the challenge to bring the culture of Christ to the world that He Himself created.

At the end of the day, our greatest reward is the privileged of being called, the privileged to live out the call, the privileged to do the will of God, the privileged to carry His name to the ends of the earth. The greatest job in the world, serving fulltime for God!
