Surrendering to His will

We all have prayers and everyday petition that we beg God to answer. Prayers that would affect our lives, prayers that we desire the Lord will answer. We all have dreams and aspiration, and this dreams are meant to make us achieve, provide, and develop oneself and hopefully be that blessing to others. I have often caught myself asking God of so many things, some prayers are granted, while others seems to be un answered. There are times when God seems to be very quite in answering prayers and petition. Im sure you have experience this as well. But, i tell you one thing, and this might surprise you, all prayers and petition are answered by God. Everything! but sometimes, this answered prayers are not the kind of answer that we are expecting. And with this reality, we come up with the idea that the Lord is not answering are prayers. Sometimes, we need to accept, to submit, and to surrender to the Lord. Our plans are sometimes not the plan of the Lord for us. We just have to trust and believe. He knows what He is doing, and He knows whats best for us. Just as what is stated in Jeremiah, " for i know well the plans i have in mind says the Lord, plans for your welfare not for woe, plans to give you a future full of hope ". May your discovery and acceptance of the will of the Lord bring you to a more deeper faith. Knowing that He is a God who is in full control. I just did!
